Say SpaHa and I will kick your ass. And I'm not even a native New Yorker, but that hipster shit is enough to send me into a full stereotypical angry New York attitude-wielding ninja. You can have SoHo, leave El Barrio alone. This neighborhood is everything I hope for on an artistic front. Facades of buildings covered in murals, many by street artist de la Vega, nicely executed graffiti telling stories of history of many ancestors that walked these streets before us. It reminds me of Cuba and I enjoy every minute of it. I need to spend more time there. Here is just a small portion of my walk through from last week.
